Consort Desktop - News

Very brief blogpost. As of today I'm moving Consort away from GTK3.4. In order to retain cross-distro compatibility we will be using GTK3.6 and associated dependencies to build the Consort Desktop.
Summary of coming changes (over the next few weeks):

• Fix compositing crash in Consortium
• Better pathbar in Athena
• Some new consort-panel applets
• Better theming of consort-panel
• Vertical sync to blank in Consortium, to fix tearing with videos, etc.
• Improve UI on older components, like Athena and consort-panel preferences dialogs

More changes will be implemented in due course, but its about time people got a heads up on what's happening :)
