As promised, I'm still keeping everyone up to date with our latest milestones in SolusOS 2.
We've now completed our networking stack, and SolusOS 2 is fully capable of using a remote repository now.

Just another quick update, we're working now on a new buildfarm for SolusOS. This is essentially an automated package building system for SolusOS 2.
While the original Pardus buildfarm was a very good piece of software, it was limited in its uses. Originally limited to just SVN repository access, we've now expanded this piece of kit to work over git,
automatically discovering new packages to be built.

New SolusOS 2 Milestone
As you can see from the image below, we just hit 500 commits to our git repository. We've managed to complete 'system.base', we have a working init system, grub2, initramfs, 3.8.2 kernel, and we're now working on the desktop stack. We also managed to complete most of the networking stack (Using NetworkManager 0.9.8), and we're very proud of what we've achieved so far :)

Very brief blogpost. As of today I'm moving Consort away from GTK3.4. In order to retain cross-distro compatibility we will be using GTK3.6 and associated dependencies to build the Consort Desktop.
Summary of coming changes (over the next few weeks):
