final version is out… downloading!
thank you guys for this amazing distro!!!
thanxs to the SolusOS dev. team and Ikey, without you there was no SolusOS, again a fantastic job done up to the SolusOS 2 rc
Thank you
Ya está descargada!!!
Muchas gracias
Congratulations Ikey and the rest of the dev team on a brilliant release. While my hardware only needs to 32-bit edition, I have tried the 64-bit and was impressed.
Thank you for testing tdockery97, as always your input is very welcome!
Sweet! You rock, dude. I’m going to download it later and install it tonight.
The changelog says printer drivers were added. Are these drivers in the 32 bit edition or were they added just for the 64 bit version? Thanks
the cups-driver-gutenprint was added to the 64bit, it is available in the 32bit via synaptic.
Doesn’t work for me. I get the blue & white progress bars, then a brief screen of text and then just a flashing cursor! Shame, as I was looking forward to the 64bit version. I did install the 32bit without a problem.
Torrenting the 64 bit final now and will have it up on my main machine within the hour. The 32 bit was working great for the time it was running.
downloaded and installed 64-bit final; problems with devede solved! everything was running smoothly but then…downloaded a new gnome desktop wallpaper and ….it broke the system!! cannot get solus os back…rather worried that if i re-install the same thing might happen again..(leave it for a week or two perhaps?)
unfortunately, the final version of Solus 64-bit OS does not work on my laptop

Congratulations by an italian superuser…….and bella Ikey
Thank you so much for this !!!!
I’m having a bit of trouble with flash in this version, everything else is working perfect. I’ve installed gnash SWF viewer for mozilla firefox to fix it.
Easy nvidia install, wine installed by default, generic awesome classic gnome version, its everything I could ask for in an operating system.
Excellent distro …….. was very impressed ….. will it be possible to have LVM support for the installation.
I seem to have a problem installing. I have used unetbootin to install 64 bit final onto my usb.
When it boots from the usb it gets to the menu.
i leave it to load default
it loads the loading bar at the bottom
the the loading bar disappears
Then a minus sign at the top left corner of the screen keeps on flashing.
I leave it and come back after 10 minutes and its at the same spot
And i cant get past this!
Unetbootin might have messed up try from the command line.
dd if=/path/to/iso of=/dev/sdX
X being whatever your USB is allocated.
Hi, Thanks for the Final release.
However I’m still having overheat issue with my Sony VPCCB15FG laptop.
Before I installed SolusOS 64 final, I used Linux MInt 13 and it didn’t overheat on my laptop.
Would you please address this issue please dear sirs.
I really, really want to use SolusOS 64 for everyday use. But this overheat really torturing my machine.
Please guide me how to address this. Thank you soooo muccch..
Rock solid Ikey, after the upgrade path from RC2 to the final, even a small window display problem has gone, before I could even report it! On my AMD dual core box this works really well.
Thank you gentlemen
Ray
Really glad mate BTW you wanna test the 3.3.6 kernel ?
Pourquoi choisir SolusOS Eveline ?
Merci.
