Well, as promised, I’m working on all the new apps for the 1.3 release of SolusOS Eveline.

The first of them is the new SolusOS Control Center (named soluscc). It aims to make using the control center options in SolusOS much easier by presenting a much more user-friendly interface

GNOME Control Center

Currently need as many people testing this as possible please, to get it ready in time for the 1.3 release. Thanks !

    Congratulations, Ikey, on producing such a friendly distro.
    I have just, regretfully, stopped using Linux Mint Debian because the updates broke programs that I use everyday, and these programs were never in the Mint horizons so not supported and bug reports would be ignored. These programs were Firestarter firewall and pdfedit, neither of which now function on LMDE. I’m now using mainly SolusOS 1 Eveline 64-bit and it works a treat, Firestarter, pdfedit, Asian language support, all work fine. It all depends on whether it is going to stay that way – hopefully through Eveline’s lifespan.

    This comment is about your use of the American word “Center” even though you’re a Brit. American developers are trying to diss English, in that they want to make American English to be the international language of computing. Please, please Ikey don’t give in to them and hang on to to your native language. It’s too good to give away to ambitious people from other cultures.

    Best wishes

    Graham

    • Thanks mate :) Sorry to hear Mint didn’t work out for you. If there’s anything I can do to avoid similar catastrophes in SolusOS
      let me know.

      BTW, I’m Irish, not a Brit. Therefore the culture thing doesn’t affect me.
